PARKING & TRAFFIC SERVICES OFFICE (Campus Safety)


Student Center, Room 105 - Ext. 6482: Mon. - Fri., 7 a.m. to 5p.m.

The Parking & Traffic Services Office conveniently located adjacent to the main entrance to the Student Center and serves as the central point of contact for all campus parking services.

The University requires all vehicles (cars, motorcycles and mopeds) to be registered with the Parking & Traffic Services Office. Bicycles must also be registered. At the time of registration, you will be able to purchase a registration decal and will receive a copy of the "Parking and Traffic Rules & Regulations". There is no charge for bicycle registration. Temporary and visitor permits are also available. Parking citation appeal forms are obtained through this office.

Motor vehicles must yield to pedestrians and observe allapplicable regulations as. Please obey all traffic regulations and use all safety equipment when operating any motor vehicle on campus. Students are never authorized to park in the Visitor Parking areas.

Vehicles observed committing a parking or moving violation are subject to ticketing with the registered owner being responsible for the designated fine. If you let someone use your car, be sure that they are aware of the campus rules.

The Parking & Traffic Services Office also operates a Motorist Assistance Program. Parking Services Officers and Safety Officers will assist with jump starts and flat tire inflation. After hours request please call SAFE (7233) to speak with a Campus Safety communicator.
