Activities for International Students

University Experiences

International Student Services encourages you to be successful and engaged in your university experience. We hope you use your free time to broaden your network of friends, expand your world and gain career contacts.

Monthly Activities

Our staff organizes monthly activities for you: trips to interesting/historic places, opportunities to share your culture and experiences with others, and fun food events like Game Nights, pizza parties, barbecues, or a movie and sandwiches. There are also lunchtime student speakers – involved with our unique program: “Widening Our View”. View our online photo gallery.

Annual Worldfest

The office of International Student Services sponsors Worldfest each Spring semester. It's a new venue for the department – (evolving from what was called International Day). Worldfest brings ERAU community and area visitors to the ICI Field House to interact with students from countries and cultures around the world, enjoy a variety of ethnic entertainment, and truly feel engaged in new cultural experiences. Catch all the winners of the ISS photo contests. It's a great opportunity to share your native culture with members of the campus and local Daytona Beach community.

Sampling of Trips

A sampling of short travel trips -- past and planned -- includes the quaint town of Mount Dora; a day at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure; St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States; Orlando Science Center; and Kennedy Space Center.

We are here to support you and encourage your success at Embry-Riddle. Come in to our offices, and know we are here to help and serve you. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, read a publication from your home country, relax and play a board game with a friend, or just sit and talk.
