Lost or Stolen Cards
Lost or Stolen Cards Lost or stolen Cards should be reported immediately during business hours (8:00am to 4:00pm) to the EAGLE Card Center (386-226-7578) or after business hours to Safety (386-226-6480). Cards reported lost or stolen will be immediately deactivated. The Card holder is responsible for purchases debited to the account prior to notification to the appropriate office. The possibility of unauthorized charges to the student account is lessened by reporting the lost or stolen Card as soon as it is discovered missing. Anyone who finds an EAGLE Card should notify the EAGLE Card Center. Every effort will be made to return the EAGLE Card to the Card holder.
Temporary Cards When an EAGLE Card has been lost or stolen, a Card holder may request to use a temporary Card until a replacement Card can be obtained. Temporary Cards allow you a little extra time ( 7 days) to find your Card. Temporary Cards are available 24 hours a day. Temporary Cards may be obtained at the EAGLE Card Center from 8am to 4pm Monday thru Friday; or any other time at the Safety Office located in the Student Center Lobby. All privileges and account funds on the permanent Card are transferred to the temporary Card. There is a $5.00 fee charged to the students' account if a temporary Card is not returned within the time specified.
Replacement Cards Replacement Cards are issued at the EAGLE Card Center for damaged, lost, or stolen Cards. The option of taking a new picture will be offered at that time. There is a $10 replacement fee which can be charged to the students' account or be paid with EAGLE Dollars. The fee will be waived only if the Card was stolen and a police report was written. There is a $5 replacement fee for a damaged Card if the malfunctioning Card is returned at that time. NOTE: Once an EAGLE Card has been replaced, the old EAGLE Card can never be reactivated or reused. If you find the old Card, please destroy it so that you don't confuse the two Cards
