weather to the intriguing world of meteorology. Developed primarily for
aviation students, the Aviation Weather minor can be used to delve deeper into the dynamics of the atmosphere. Students complete nine hours of WX (weather) coursework beyond the two required courses, (which equal six credit hours, see below). The minor requires a total of 15 hours of weather courses and must include at least six hours of upper-level credits. Always check the catalog for prerequisites. This minor is not appropriate for students who major in Applied Meteorology.
