Center for Aerospace Safety/Security Education (CASE)

Embry-Riddle's Center for Aerospace Safety/Security Education (CASE)  promotes and provides essential aviation safety education and resources to the international aviation community, including excellent research capabilities.

Since the 1988 beginnings of CASE,  the number of aerospace safety course offerings to ERAU undergraduates has greatly increased; the Aviation Safety minor was established; graduate level aviation safety courses were developed; and an aviation safety certificate program designed for working aerospace industry professionals was created.

Though CASE is headquarted at the Robertson Aviation Safety Center on the Prescott campus, faculty are from both campuses and industry. In addition to offices, conference/classrooms, facilities include the Safety Resource Center (an extensive library and repository for aviation safety materials) and the eight-acre Accident Investigation Laboratory, featuring a selection of aircraft relocated there from actual accident field scenarios.
