Immunizations

Health Services has arranged for MAXIM Healthcare Services, a national firm, to provide regular, campus-based clinics so that students may have the opportunity to protect themselves against vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles, mumps, rubella, meningitis and hepatitis B. Immunization fees are payable by cash, check or credit card to MAXIM. For additional information on immunizations, required and voluntary, please refer to the Medical Report form and/or contact Health Services at (386) 226-7917 and ask to speak with a staff nurse.

Tuberculosis Screening

The Centers for Disease Control, Atlanta, has determined that tuberculosis is prevalent in many areas of the world. Health Services will arrange for international students enrolling from TB endemic areas to be screened for exposure to this communicable disease. The painless skin test is conducted in an effort to safeguard the health and well being of individual students and the entire campus community.
