Space PhysicsThe Bachelor of Science in Space Physics is an applied physics program designed to prepare graduates for further study (Masters of Science or Ph.D.-level work) or entry into space- and aerospace-related industries or government. The Space Physics program currently has two areas of concentration:Astrophysics & Particle Physics and Cosmology. Two more concentration areas, Remote Sensing and Exotic Propulsion Systems, will be added in the near future.
* Also including the Congressional Research Service, national security-related civilian agencies such as CIA and NSA, the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), etc. ** Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has a chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS), which links students with professional societies and career development, and will be establishing a chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma, the national Physics Honor Society in the 2004-2005 academic year. |
