Services Provided to Students and Alumni


Our staff provides the following services and resources to ALL Daytona Beach students and alumni up to one year after graduation:

  • One-on-One Career Advising
  • EagleHire Network access (resume referral and job posting system)
  • Cooperative Education/Internship Program (current degree-seeking students only)
  • Act as industry liaisons
  • Participation in on-campus interviews and information sessions
  • Annual Industry/Career Expos, held at the Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses every Fall
  • Annual Virtual Hiring Events, held every Spring via the EagleHire Network
  • Resume and cover letter critiques
  • Provide resources via in-office library, Career Services website, Blackboard/ERNIE, and on the EagleHire Network
  • Access to exclusive resources through the EagleHire Network such as CareerShift, Going Global, and Perfect Interview 
  • Access to CareerSpots professional videos, each less than 3.5 minutes in length, that provide valuable tips and information on all aspects of the job search
    Access to CareerBliss job postings, company reviews, salary information and more
  • Mock interviews with Program Manager
  • Career-related presentations and webinars
  • Alumni Mentorship Service participation
  • Access to Career Services social networking resources: LinkedIn, Facebook, and our Going Places blog


Alumni one year post-graduation and beyond:

  • EagleHire Network access (resume referral/job posting system and resource portal)
  • Participation in on-campus interviews and information sessions (information provided through the EagleHire Network)
  • Annual Industry/Career Expos, held at the Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses every Fall

  • Self-directed resources via in-office library, Career Services website, and on the EagleHire Network 
  • Access to Perfect Interview through the EagleHire Network (self-guided mock interviewing software)
  • Access to Going Global, a specialized resource for individuals seeking opportunities abroad, available through the EagleHire Network
  • Access to CareerShift, a powerful comprehensive job search and contact management tool, accessible through the EagleHire Network
  • Access to CareerSpots professional videos, each less than 3.5 minutes in length, that provide valuable tips and information on all aspects of the job search

Important Note: One-on-one career advising is not available for alumni who have been graduated for more than one year. If you are interested in fee-based career advising services, check out our list of providers.




Our Mission



It is the mission of the Career Services Office to provide quality comprehensive career-related services and resources, empowering students by giving them the tools necessary to excel in today's highly competitive global employment market. The Career Services Office facilitates connections between students, alumni, and employers for the purpose of promoting productive employment opportunities for both experiential learning and full-time careers in the aviation and aerospace industry.
