The University respects the privacy of its stakeholders in University-held information relating to them. Accordingly, University employees shall take reasonable measures to avoid and prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of such information. 

Information and data provided to the University to facilitate University business is the property of the University. Employees, agents, representatives, or vendors privy to such information by virtue of their duties for or on behalf of the University shall treat such information as private, confidential, proprietary University information, and use it only for legitimate University purposes.

University employees shall comply with all applicable laws and policies relating to information privacy.
