Under the leadership of Embry-Riddle President John P. Johnson (2006 to present), the University has experienced a period of extraordinary growth, with new degree programs launched, international expansion moving forward, and ambitious campus construction projects completed or planned.

International Expansion

Moving confidently into the rapidly growing Asian aviation market, Embry-Riddle has established in Singapore its first Asian center. There, Embry-Riddle offers degrees in collaboration with Singapore Aviation Academy, which is the training division of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Also in Singapore, Embry-Riddle offers joint degrees in collaboration with SIM University, including a dual degree program for Republic of Singapore Air Force personnel.

In addition to Singapore, Embry-Riddle has established collaborative degree programs with three institutions in China—Civil Aviation University of China, Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, and the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology. Embry-Riddle also trains managers and directors from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
