The Math Department is located in the Lehman Engineering Building.

The College of Arts and Sciences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chair of the Mathematics Department. The Chair will lead departmental efforts in offering quality instruction, facilitating faculty research, and promoting, delivering, and administering the recently approved Computational Mathematics program.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an earned Doctorate in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Mathematics/Statistics, Mathematics/Computer Science, or other closely related disciplines. Candidates must also have demonstrated effective management of faculty and staff in an academic department, as well as possessing effective communication skills and a commitment to positive faculty interactions. In addition, candidates must offer an established record of excellence in research, with quality publications and/or current funded research, and have extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development.
