Academic Regalia Program
Eligible faculty and instructional staff may receive an interest-free loan to purchase academic regalia (robes, hoods, and caps) to participate in commencement ceremonies. The loan may be for the total amount of the purchase, and may be repaid through payroll deduction over one year.
Bank & Credit Unions
  • The Bank of America at Work program offers all Embry-Riddle employees online access and savings on a variety of bank accounts and services.
  • For employees on the Daytona Beach Campus, Space Coast Credit Union is a full-service credit union that has several convenient office locations. Available to all employees and their families.
  • For the Prescott Campus, Yavapai Federal Credit Union (928-445-1943) is available to all employees and their families.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential, professional national therapist and counselor network available to employees and their family members. The EAP offers counseling for family issues, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, substance abuse, financial stress, and other areas of concern.
Recreational Facilities
Employees receive full access to University recreational facilities (swimming pools, basketball courts, weight rooms, etc.) on the residential campuses.
Tool Acquisition Program (TAP)
Eligible employees may receive an interest-free loan of up to $2,500.00 to purchase personal hand tools needed for the performance of primary duties in the Fleet Maintenance and Physical Plant/Facilities Departments. The loan may be repaid through payroll deduction over two years.
Training & Development
A variety of training workshops and programs are available to employees free of charge each semester. The HR Training Team provides courses in computer software, supervisory and leadership skills, diversity, time management, and other areas of skill growth and professional development. The Training Team also offers custom team workshops, meeting facilitation, and department retreats.
Discounts to Area Attractions
Discount cards and special offers for Sea World, Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Center, Busch Gardens, and other area attractions are available to employees.
Tuition Exchange Program (TE)
The Tuition Exchange Scholarship Program (TE) provides the opportunity for dependent children of Embry-Riddle's full-time employees to attend a participating TE college or university at a significant tuition reduction or at no tuition charge. Please note that the TE program is a scholarship opportunity rather than a fringe benefit.
Tuition Waivers
Eligible employees and/or their family members may receive 100% waivers of tuition for undergraduate and graduate courses and/or 25% waivers of flight lab fees at Embry-Riddle. To receive tuition waivers, employees may only enroll in either two undergraduate courses (up to seven credit hours) OR two graduate courses (up to six credit hours) per semester. Other restrictions and guidelines apply.
